Lindsey Knochel, MSW, LCSW

Hello, My name is Lindsey. I enjoy providing therapy for children and their parents and young adults.

therapy for children

Does your child have difficulty concentrating in school? Do they appear withdrawn, anxious, irritated or angry? Has your child experienced a big event that led to changes in their behavior? Does parenting bring about challenges you are unsure of how to handle? I want to join with you to strengthen relationships and build resiliency.

As a young adult you may ask yourself, “What’s next?” or “Where do I go from here?”. Do you have relational hurts that are difficult to understand or sort out? Have you experienced big events that are impacting life more than you would like? I want to help you explore the past, who you are and the future you desire.

Seeking counseling takes courage. I seek to provide engaging, playful, and intentional connections to strengthen relationships. We will work together to develop a safe place and an individualized plan to meet your desired outcome.

I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have worked with children, youth and their families through school and outpatient settings since 2008. I am trained in attachment and evidenced-based trauma models.

Call 217-231-1413 to schedule an appointment. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
